Math at the Alameda County Library 2018
Over the summer of 2018, we ran a free class at Alameda County Library we taught six middle school students mathematical concepts to help them prepare for the CAML, and for taking the AMC in the future. The program ran for six weeks, where we taught two times a week.
CS at the Alameda County Library 2019
Over the summer of 2019, we ran a free class at Alameda County Library aimed at teaching students the fundamentals of programming through Python. The program ran for four weeks with ten students. We developed the initial curriculum that we used and expanded at our elementary school initiative.
CS at Mission San Jose Elementary 2019-2020
We ran a program at our local elementary school, teaching students the fundamentals of programming through Python. Our classes began in October and lasted till March with a class of over 20 students. Our program taught students to have an in-depth understanding of variables, conditionals, loops, and basic sorting algorithms.
